The Refilea Sea View Tower Villa is a unique and deeply authentic property, located in the heart of Vernazza. This ancient tower of the Cinque Terre offers a rare experience, made of history, silence and spectacular views, perfect for those who wish to live the village from an intimate and timeless perspective.



Purchased many years ago by a famous Italian writer and translator, known for bringing Agatha Christie's novels to Italy, the tower has been transformed into a creative and inspiring refuge. Even today, it retains that intimate and literary atmosphere that invites contemplation, writing, and slowness.



The villa is developed over five levels, as per the tradition of Vernazza towers. On the ground floor, there is a small bathroom with a shower and an essential kitchenette, equipped with an electric hob, microwave, and Nespresso machine, ideal for breakfasts and simple meals. The first floor hosts a welcoming living area with a table and a sofa that converts into a single bed. On the second floor, there is a double bedroom, quiet and well-furnished. The third floor is dedicated to a panoramic study, the creative heart of the house, with a bed that converts into a double bed (not separable) and large windows overlooking the sea and the village.



The true jewel of the Refilea is the panoramic terrace, accessible via an internal staircase: an exclusive space with a 360° view of Vernazza and the Ligurian Sea, perfect for an aperitif at sunset or to enjoy the silence and sea breeze.



The tower is rich in charm and authenticity, but should be chosen with awareness: it has steep internal and external stairs and the vertical layout makes the property unsuitable for guests with reduced mobility, very young children or elderly people. It is instead ideal for solo travellers, couples and small families with older children, looking for an unusual stay.



Domestic pets



Small and medium-sized dogs are permitted, with a supplement and in compliance with house rules. Dogs must be kept on a leash in common areas and are not allowed on beds, sofas or armchairs.

The stay includes a complimentary welcome breakfast for the first day and high-quality essential amenities, such as local extra virgin olive oil, salt, sugar, and compostable Nespresso capsules. Professional cleaning, attention to sustainability, and support from the concierge office in Vernazza are guaranteed, open from 9:30 to 18:30 (from mid-March to early November).



Important information



Check-in is in person and the arrival time must be communicated in advance (15:00–18:30). Arrivals after 18:30 may incur a supplement; check-in after 22:00 is not permitted.

By law, heating cannot be used from 1 April to 8 November.
