This hotel was perfect for our stay on our honeymoon. We disembarked from our cruise, traveled to Venice airport to take a boat taxi, and arrived at San Zaccaria with only a short walk to the hotel from the boat stop. The hotel was very clean with a beautiful Venetian design. Our room had a beautiful terrace overlooking the water surrounded by lemon and fig trees. The staff was nice and booked us for a boat tour and private taxi. There is so much close by and as well as a wonderful shop for Venetian masks across the way where we shipped a couple back home. Overall would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again. Don’t hesitate to book. :)

It was overall a positive experience. The hotel and the rooms are old and require innovation but it did not that much impact our experience. One thing that could have been changed is to make beds larger as the twin beds are quite small and not so comfortable. And the breakfast saloon is quite small and very packed in the mornings. Location of the hotel is excellent and the personnel were quite smiling and hospitable.

Excellent stay with kids

We had a wonderful time at this cozy hotel. The kids especially enjoyed the old fashion charm of the accommodation and the lovely canal view from our room. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were helpful and friendly. The location was excellent, close to sights and restaurants.

Truly an amazing experience with this hotel. They are so friendly and made our stay exceptional. So much nicer and more accommodating than any US hotels that we are used to. Hotel was very close to all the major attractions but just far enough away that it wasn’t crowded.

What an amazing time we had in Venice and this hotel was authentically Venice. The staff amazing, took our bags up the stairs and back down, took our bags to the water taxi, ordered the taxi, buffet breaky was so good. They offered any info needed in Venice and checked us in 3 hours early. The rooms were beautiful we had a family room
