Marco and team were so helpful and welcoming. They helped me with reservations and really made the trip a great experience. The room and view were beautiful. Would recommend and will be back! Found a new home from home in Venice.

This property was pleasantly old, as so many are, however there are flights of step in the building to the check in desk, there is no lift or elevator. The owners of the property were very nice and helpful with all our needs. I would recommend that there be in house access to coffee in the mornings. We did enjoy our time there.

This was an amazing experience! Our suites were beautifully appointed, well cleaned, and looked over Campo Santa Maria. The location was perfect for walking around Venice and we were able to walk to most points within a few minutes. The building has kept most of its historic charm and provides a stay that transports you to a life in history. The owners were WONDERFUL! They were incredibly helpful with recommendations, assistance booking local transportation, and made delicious cappuccinos at breakfast. We would stay here again without a second thought.

We stayed Sept. 14-16, 2026; Had a great time! Great weather, great people, amazing sights! We had the Jr. suite room at the top of the palace (7 flight of steps, pack light, theres no elevator). Located in a comfy spot where the daily rate wont kill you; The plaza of San Marco and south coast of the Grand Canal are near-by. The Venetian host was a little nervous attending to foreigners, which was unsettling at first, but she was super humble and did try her best to communicate. They provide 3 keys. 1 key for entry to the hotel (locks automatically upon closing), 1 key for entry to the room chambers, and finally 1 old school toy key for your actual room. The palace was built in the 1400s, the hallways have uneven floors, and motion activated lights that sometimes dont detect well. You just might end up in the dark, in a creepy palace hoping you have the right key for the next door. The room itself hosts a low ceiling, a small table for two and a modest queen size bed with a tv, closet space for two, a/c and a marble tiled bathroom with toilet, bidet, shower and sink. All in all, the pictures were a little misguiding. The view they present is the lobby, which looks out to the plaza next to a church, and a couple of black lion statues. I probably would not have stayed in this hotel had I known otherwise, but glad I did. It made for a great adventure and some wonderful memories for our honeymoon.
