Apartment was clean and comfortable and in a perfect location for seeing all of Venice. Restaurants, shops and supermarkets are all within a few minutes walk. Easy to find the apartment from the water bus stop. We had a great time in Venice and accessed all that we wanted to do easily from here. We had a day in Verona on the train. It was about a 30 minute walk to the station from here, but a pleasant walk through the shops and cafes. It took us 2 hours to get back at the end of the day, got distracted by a bit of retail therapy!!

Donatella was an excellent host and was very responsive before and during our stay.The apartment was clean, spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed.The location cannot be beat. We were a short walking distance from the best restaurants, shopping and sites in Venice.

Perfection!

A bucket list dream came true. Stayed in the very heart of Venice, location was amazing! Wandered the Calles just to come home to our authentic Venetian apartment. To hearing Saint Mark’s bells, the apartments Murano chandeliers, true Venice coffee maker, we got to live the dream! Thank you!

Great location

Donnatella was a great host. Very accessible before and during the trip. The apartment was perfect. She has everything you’ll need for your stay. Be sure to have a drink or dinner on the private roof deck!

Wonderful stay in Venice

Donatella was great welcoming me into the apartment with excellent directions and checking in. The place is just as pictured and very well equipped with everything you will need. If you like to cook you will not be disappointed. Venice is right at your feet with wonderful restaurants and shopping. I would definitely stay here again.

Wow! A fantastic location, steps from Piazza San Marco. Easy to find, despite those famous maze-like Venice alleyways! Donatella was an amazing host. She was quick to respond to my multiple inquiries, especially when there were some unexpected delays to my arrival time. Her instructions on navigating alleyways to find the location, check in and check out were super clear. Highly recommend!!

Very spacious and clean home with a large outdoor patio to relax and drink wine. Lots of information of what to do and where to eat. Owner was very friendly and knowledgeable with anything you want to know. Thanks for the wonderful stay and lots of great memories!

Best VRBO so far

This was the third VRBO we have stayed at, all top rated. Donatella offers the best of the three. The cleanliness, expanse, furnishings, supplies, location are lovely. The kitchen is well supplied and spacious and well lit. There is 1 1/2 bathrooms. Donatella was always available and very helpful. We would stay again. Thank you,Donatella for everything.

Short stay in Venice

Photos are accurate to reality. Very central location with tons of restaurants & shops around. Donatella was very easy to communicate with & provided tons of information & suggestions for shopping & eating. Also very prompt to respond to any questions or concerns. Very nice lady to deal with.

Great Property

This is a great property, wonderful location (literally 2 minutes to st mark’s basilica/doges palace. In the heart of everything. The apartment is spacious and wonderfully appointed. Donatella was a gracious and helpful host. Would 100% stay here again.

Everything you need

Venice vacation

Donatella's home is absolutely beautiful-you can definitely trust the photos! The kitchen was well equipped with all you would need for cooking and then some! Having 2 bathrooms was a luxury and she had plenty of toilet paper (trust me-that doesn't happen in all rentals) We loved the spaciousness of her home, especially with the outdoor terrace. Donatella was SO easy to work with and very accommodating with our check in. She gave thorough directions to her home and was available if we needed her. Super simple which made for a relaxing vacation. Thanks so much Donatella

Perfectly positioned close to everything

Lovely apartment close to St Marco. We had a wonderful stay and loved all Venice had to offer. Our host Donatella answered all our questions promptly and was the perfect host. Perfect location, lovely apartment

What a lovely place, spacious, clean, everything functional, and charming, down to the jug of cold water in the fridge! A perfect location for having timed tickets to the places in San Marco Plaza so we could have a quick easy rest in the apartment when needed without a lot of walking. Although the walking was great and we loved Venice in general!

Donatella is an excellent host. She helped us get to the apartment from train station via. Ferry boat. Venice is very crowded in the area where the apartment is located. . The location is excellent for staying near Saint Marks basilica. It is less than five minutes away. Venice is a very different City with its nook and cranny streets. The apartment offers shopping all around and nearby many restaurants and bars. Minutes away is Doges Palace, the Bell Tower, the Basilica. The boat transportation is what we use. It was a 10 minute walk and we got to our destinations quickly with the boat. It was fun. The bathroom is adequate with small shower. Good water pressure plus we had the ironing board iron and washing machine to wash our clothes, the bed was adequate Soft but adequate. TV in bedroom was very nice and there was a TV in the kitchen. Kitchen was very clean. Whole apartment was clean. It had a balcony, Terrace. It had a safe. I would consider three floors from the main entrance to the apartment, but it wasn’t bad to walk with good legs. Unfortunately, if you are a light sleeper, you may have trouble sleeping from outside noise and other apartment dwellers, but you are in the main heart of the District of Saint Marks.

A perfect slice of Venice in the heart of town

My husband and I stayed in the apartment for three days and loved the location. Donatella took very good care of us with lovely recommendations and wonderful communication leading up to our stay. The apartment’s kitchen was well appointed and perfect for making coffee and breakfast in the morning. The terrace was a perfect spot for the afternoon. Having 1.5 bathrooms is always a bonus. And the extra blankets were also very nice. We also felt very secure behind two gates but still in the middle of everything. St Marks is just a few minutes away and there are plenty of restaurants around the apartment. Things to note. Recommend bringing ear plugs for sleeping as noise travels differently in Venice and people enjoy themselves later (on the street and in the apartment). Nothing un-expected and part of the charm of the area. Also, if you love extra firm beds you will love this mattress and if not, I recommend using the two down comforters in the wardrobe for a great night sleep.
