Apartment was clean and comfortable and in a perfect location for seeing all of Venice. Restaurants, shops and supermarkets are all within a few minutes walk. Easy to find the apartment from the water bus stop. We had a great time in Venice and accessed all that we wanted to do easily from here. We had a day in Verona on the train. It was about a 30 minute walk to the station from here, but a pleasant walk through the shops and cafes. It took us 2 hours to get back at the end of the day, got distracted by a bit of retail therapy!!

Wonderful stay in Venice

Donatella was great welcoming me into the apartment with excellent directions and checking in. The place is just as pictured and very well equipped with everything you will need. If you like to cook you will not be disappointed. Venice is right at your feet with wonderful restaurants and shopping. I would definitely stay here again.

Apartment was very nice in an excellent location just outside San Marco square. Easy walk to sites and restaurants. Donatella was helpful and patient as we missed our flight connection from Rome, arriving 4 hours later than expected. Certainly will stay again when in Venice.

Wow! A fantastic location, steps from Piazza San Marco. Easy to find, despite those famous maze-like Venice alleyways! Donatella was an amazing host. She was quick to respond to my multiple inquiries, especially when there were some unexpected delays to my arrival time. Perfect location, lovely apartment

What a lovely place, spacious, clean, everything functional, and charming, down to the jug of cold water in the fridge! A perfect location for having timed tickets to the places in San Marco Plaza so we could have a quick easy rest in the apartment when needed without a lot of walking. Although the walking was great and we loved Venice in general!

Best VRBO so far

This was the third VRBO we have stayed at, all top rated. Donatella offers the best of the three. The cleanliness, expanse, furnishings, supplies, location are lovely. The kitchen is well supplied and spacious and well lit. There is 1 1/2 bathrooms. Donatella was always available and very helpful. We would stay again. Thank you,Donatella for everything.

Charming Clean and Comfortable

Great location for everything we had planned for our 4 days in Venice. We enjoyed the charm and traditional feel of the apartment which was spacious and very clean. Donatella is a wonderful host who reached out to confirm our arrival details. She told us the best way to get from the airport then provided photos and a video to make sure we didn’t get lost once we were on foot. Likewise she gave us info to make getting to the train station stress free.

Convenient and Helpful

The property is in an ideal location just around the corner from San Marco Square. Easy walking to major sites and the flexibility to pop back to the apartment without having to "pack up for the day". Donatella provided very helpful directions from the train station, and also to nearby restaurants and grocery stores. And there is a very nice coffee shop just around the corner for an early bite. We had a wonderful 3 nights in Venice. Thank you Donatella!

Great location, excellent accommodation

A great stay often starts with the owner, and Donatella provided us a great introduction to Venetian hospitality. The apartment was just a 5 minute walk from the water taxi and it was a bit larger than we expected. The photos are accurate, but understated, which is a big plus when arriving. Plenty of nearby restaurants but we used a grocery store, only a 3-4 minute walk, and prepared most meals in the kitchen, which was well supplied with basic items. The tiny kitchen sink was a challenge washing dishes, but that’s Venice. Highly appreciative of our 3 days!

Amazing location!!

I can't say enough about the location of this fantastic apartment. Especially for your first time in Venice it's exactly where you'd want to be. Yes - it's a bit crowded, but that means that you're close to everything. The apartment is spacious, clean and has everything you could possibly need for your stay. Donatella is excellent - always there when/if you need her and had lots of great suggestions for us. As another reviewer posted, the key/lock can be a bit tricky - make sure you practice before Donatella leaves. Overall, I would definitely stay here again - highly recommend!!

Venice vacation

Donatella's home is absolutely beautiful-you can definitely trust the photos! The kitchen was well equipped with all you would need for cooking and then some! Having 2 bathrooms was a luxury and she had plenty of toilet paper (trust me-that doesn't happen in all rentals) We loved the spaciousness of her home, especially with the outdoor terrace. Donatella was SO easy to work with and very accommodating with our check in. She gave thorough directions to her home and was available if we needed her. Super simple which made for a relaxing vacation. Thanks so much Donatella
