A gorgeous hotel. Very clean and they offer to clean the rooms and give you fresh towel every day. The staff are very friendly too and it's in a great location in the quieter Jewish Ghetto. Lots of good restaurants, cafes, gelato shops and a nice park to relax in.

Positioned really nicely within Venice, close to all the major travel links including buses and trains. 10-15min walk from all main attractions so perfectly located. Hotel was beautiful, clean and tidy, staff were very helpful. Room was brilliant with loads of space, and the bathroom was modern. Really lovely old character property, but with modern bathrooms. Excellent location too. Close to the main walking route into the station, but still very quiet at night. If you stay here you must go up the road instead if down it as the area in this direction is a beautiful canal with lovely restaurants all up one side and nice character buildings. I did a lot of walking all over Venice and I’d say this is one of the nicest areas to go in the evenings and it’s just a couple of minutes from the hotel. Loved everything about the hotel too and would recommend

My daughter and I had a great time in Venice and would highly recommend staying at Antico Protego. The room was spotless and comfortable. Nicole was excellent at responding quickly via WhatsApp and we received all info required prior to arriving. The location couldn’t be better with easy access to both the train station and the water shuttle. Also very close to many restaurants and other amenities. Had a tricky time finding it at first as the sign shown in the pictures is not there. Thank you to all staff for a lovely stay.
