"This place was f********* awesome! The grouns were immaculate, the scenery, breathtaking and the staff great. They had around the clock trams and plenty on site activities. We absolutely loved it. The only points of nitpicking is the food could've been better (wasn't bad, just not stellar) and that a resort of that size probably could benefit from two pools."

"Excellent property with a beautiful beach. I loved seeing the friendly monkeys around the resort—they were such a fun touch! The only concern I had was a strange smell in my room that I couldn’t quite identify. I also wish I had been able to try the steakhouse, but it was fully booked every night during my stay. Other than that, I had a great time and it’s a wonderful resort. I’ll definitely be coming back!"

"Very happy with our stay at Occidental Tamarindo! First, the staff, I’ve never felt so welcomed any where else. Plenty of food and drinks. Clean rooms and facility in general. Entertainment team made a huge effort every single night and was really appreciated by us. They go above and beyond in every show with whatever resources they have. Special mention to the tours desk in the hotel with Sibü Tours! Yusi is amazing and very personal in every interaction. The best driver ever, Manrique, is all you need when looking for a friend in an unknown destination! He’s our friend now! Francisco, the guide, was fun, friendly and informative (5 stars), and Don Diego the big boss, a very humble, pleasant and friendly guy. Such a great team! We’re already planning to go to Occidental again!"
