"The staff working at the hotel are super friendly and try their best to accommodate the needs of costumers - our ferry to Kefalonia was cancelled and they were quick to keep our reservation on hold for another day. The breakfast was wonderful and it is right in front of a wonderful beach (perfect for wind surf) and close to town for a walk/stroll."

"We had a wonderful stay in the ground-floor studio at Ballas Apartments. The courtyard is amazing, and the views looking across Agia Effimia harbour are absolutely incredible. ​Stavros was an exceptional, genuinely helpful host who went above and beyond at all times to ensure we had the best holiday. Location-wise, it’s ideal—we easily drove to Assos and Fiskardo in around 40 minutes. The drive from the airport is straightforward, but a hire car is essential for exploring. "Every staff person we encountered from check in, breakfast, to check out was lovely. This is a family run hotel and the care taken is evident. We were there at a quieter time and they have us a complementary upgrade. The room was fantastic, great views, it was pristinely clean and the bed was comfortable (a king size no less!) Breakfast was amazing- some buffet pastry type things plus your choice of individually prepared omelets. We really enjoyed Lixouri, it is quiet and low key, but...

"I have stayed at Alexatos several times and will do so again if I come to Agia. The apartments are comfortable clean and quiet, very close to the centre but set back, so almost no traffic and very quiet at night. Mirka, Demetrios and Steven are wonderful hosts and make you feel very welcome - they even helped me with some trouble with my rental car. "

"The place is very convenient but lots of amenities needs extra payment. Only had one bad incident which the cleaning lady just entered our room while we were sleeping. The ocean view was not there even when we paid for that side. Aside from that every staff was very nice."

"Great place, kind hosts and a gorgeous setting! It’s a really beautiful place, and the owners takes great care of it and you as a guest! The location is perfect, it’s a nice little stroll to get to Sami and it’s no longer than 40min to drive anywhere on the island. There are also a lot of things to see and experience in the local area, and only a 5-10 minute walk to the beautiful Melissani cave. "
