This is a lovely home that is conveniently located. Kun went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. She even offered to feed our kids ice cream!

Wonderful place in a wonderful part of town

We absolutely loved our stay at the property, and the host was incredibly clear and quick to communicate with. The one warning I will give, and I wish this was communicated on the listing, is that the hosts elderly mother lives in a suite in the basement of the apartment. Her space is disconnected, and she was a lovely woman (she even gave us some fresh fruit when we arrived!), but hearing steps from the basement without knowing the source was disconcerting at best. Other than that, absolutely no complaints!

Getting ready for a big adventure

Very nice, host very helpful when one of us got injured. Very friendly as well. Had canteloup for us on the table when we arrived. Large house where everyone, we were six, had his space. Space as well to get the bikes inside and work on them. Thx. Will go back if I’m ever in Vancouver again.

Great location, ideal house for our group. Very friendly and amenable host, especially his mother Only minor 'flaw' is that the upstairs bathroom is really only suitable for shorter stature people.

Spacious family home

A beautiful old neighborhood in south Vancouver. The home was perfect for the 8 of us. The family lives in the lower level and we had the main floor and upstairs. They were very kind and accommodating. Finishings and furnishings are not fancy but practical which was just fine for us. I would recommend this home for a large group.

Beautiful quaint property & neighborhood. Convenient

PROS: Lovely front courtyard and large back patio off a bdrm. Also a lovely patio off living area. Newly painted inside and out. New cabinets, fixtures, flooring throughout. Very clean. Laundry is on premise. Beds were very comfortable. Away from downtown congestion. We did rent a car to explore Vancouver. CONS: Dishwasher was out of service, so we washed the available dishes (not a lot of those). No toaster, so we used the gas oven to toast. No ice maker so we had to buy. While there is a huge TV, it didn't work for us. Sparsely furnished in the living areas thus difficult for a group to gather there. Dining room has only room for 4 at the table unless you reconfigure and use available folding chairs. No outside furniture on front patio and it would be lovely with a small table. Only a small round 2' table on big back patio. OTHER: The owner's mother does live downstairs in basement apt. Delightful but non-English speaking. She keeps a large freezer in the dining room and a cabinet and some other space in kitchen for her use only. Not a big deal but maybe a surprise if you've rented other spots without such restrictions.
