This hotel was exceptionally good.! It was very clean and a very good location. The manger made my stay so welcome helped me with trips I wanted to do and was so very helpful with other things that I requested! Helpful

Young man on reception spoke English and arranged day trip to Hakkari for me as the bus left from a Best Van office not the bus station though I did see an unmarked bus going to Hakkari from there. Buses leave at 09.00 and 12.00 in the morning plus a few other times to Dogubayazit(Mt Ararat) from the small bus station adjacent to the main bus station.

VAN City- Winter

Dear All i write some point from my experience on winter stay: - hotel is in downtown and you have access to all stores and malls - hotel dont have air conditioner (for summer traveler) - check the rate by other hotels and specially on TL currency. -For Iranian Traveler its better to change on border NOT in Van city. - staff are charming but cant speak English.

Obwohl wir erst um 1.00 Uhr nachts ankamen, wurden wir nett empfangen und es war noch jemand an der Reception. Auf Mängel im Zimmer wurde sofort reagiert und es wurde uns ein besseres Zimmer gegeben. Der Hotelbesitzer, Harun hat uns die Umgebung gezeigt und sich einen Tag Zeit genommen und historische Orte gezeigt. Das Hotel hat seine Schwachstellen, aber man konnte zusammen offen reden und auf Vorschläge für Verbesserungen wurde eingegangen. Das Hotel liegt zentral, das macht es leicht die Stadt kennenzulernen. Vielen Dank ans Personal, herzliche Grüsse Christa und Zedek

Hotel económico con desayuno en Van

Es la segunda vez que me hospedo en este alojamiento. La habitación de esta ocasión era peor que la de la primera vez. Pedimos cama matrimonial con mi esposa y nos dieron dos camas separadas. Mi cama estaba rota y crujía demasiado, además no había forma de juntarlas para dormir cerca. Había agua caliente siempre que nos quisimos duchar, cosa que agradezco siempre. El desayuno es escaso en variedad, pero el chico que se encarga de gestionarlo en el salón de desayunos es muy amable y repone lo terminado bastante rápido. Pocos hablan inglés, salvo uno de los chicos de recepción, a pesar de eso ha sido muy amable, con los que no hablaban inglés nos entendimos con el traductor. Pueden cambiarte divisas en el hotel si se lo pides. Hemos dejado el coche de alquiler aparcado delante de la puerta, ellos gestionan el acercamiento y tienes que dejarle las llaves para mover los coches. Repetiríamos si en una futura ocasión me dieran una habitación mejor y con las prestaciones que solicité y mejorasen un poco algunos detalles de limpieza y mantenimiento de las habitaciones.
