"Trader Joe's and Wal-Mart neighborhood market were a very short drive away. We cooked and enjoyed dinner on the patio while the kids played. There was so much to do at the house we didn't feel the need to explore beyond the time we spent at The Gathering Place. We were able to walk to the park and met the neighbors, who enjoyed chatting about their gardens and telling us a bit of history about the neighborhood. The area was very safe, and the people friendly. Everything I could see us making this an annual tradition, my kids loved the house. *We also have a toddler and we're very impressed with the attention to detail in making the home safe for children.
