The host was very friendly and responded quickly to any questions. Everything was clean and the property was very interesting. The location was great just a few minutes from town.
The Host was amazing and so was the house! Mike was extremely welcoming and friendly. Filled us in on the history of this wonderful property. I will absolutely be back and highly recommend this place.
The house and property are amazing! So much history. The house had everything we needed, was clean and spacious. Perfect location to the wedding venu 5 min away.
We had a historical themed gals weekend and this place fit the bill perfectly. The building was comfortable and clean and quite magnificent. The owner was very hospitable and easy to communicate with. We had a great time!
This was a great experience for our family coming in from out of town. A large house with plenty of bedrooms for large family and friends. Beds were comfortable and lots of rooms to hang out in. Very interesting old house with lots of history.
Family here for event. The mansion was the perfect mix of space, informality and comfort. I had people from 5 different families and we were able to visit and still have private time.
Family reunion & birthday get together. We were 11 people slept very comfortably, it is a huge Victorian house so be prepared for some drafty spots in the winter. Other than taking a bit to get warmed up we had a great time well appointed kitchen. Well supplied with towels for the crew we were. Really had a great time!
The house was even more than we were hoping for. Large enough for everyone to have space and still be together. It was quiet and a good place to relax after sightseeing in
We were having a family trip to experience Gettysburg and DC. Our stay here added to our experience; the history and grandness amazed us all. Michael is a great host! We would highly recommend a stay here and my family has talked about possibly going back again sometime we loved the house so much.
We had lived in Maryland about 30 years ago and were going back to celebrate mom's 90th birthday. The 19th Century Mansion/Farm House, was a great place for people to spread apart and at the same time visit and enjoy one another. Lots of history to explore in the areas as well.Mike was an AWESOME host! His kindness and willingness to help and provide was great! What a kind gentleman! We really had a GREAT time!
Very large accommodations for several families. Bedrooms are huge! Fresh eggs from the property chickens every day. Check out the summer kitchen outbuilding with fireplace!
We stayed at this historic mansion with several of our families from Michigan for our son’s wedding. Everyone was amazed at the history this home holds. This home is so large you could literally get lost exploring, plenty of room for everyone. Mike was a very responsive host.
We loved our stay in the mansion! There are so many antiques in the house. Michael was very accomodating and helpful in so many ways. My daughter loved feeding the chickens and we all enjoyed the fresh eggs each morning.
Location is great. We went to gettysburg and also Cunningham falls
Definitely plan to visit again!
The property owner allowed me to rent the place to use as a location to get ready the day of my wedding. My entire bridal party stayed the night and we had a wonderful time. The historical charm of the property made for amazing photos! Mike was very responsive and was very hospitable! Would highly recommend, especially to those who appreciate history!
The home was welcoming for our family to gather. Fully equipped kitchen and bathrooms, large living room, dining room and game room. We would have liked one more tv in the game room or one of the 6 bedrooms for the kids while we sat and visited on the patio or living room. Owner was very accommodating and appreciated his knowledge and pride of the area.
Property was immaculately clean, Mike was onsite and took excellent care of my parents who arrived ahead of me. He’s a super host, took fresh eggs over and of course never shied away from interacting with a house full of Jamaicans! Apart from the property being perfect, Mike is everything! The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, air fryer, pots, pans, plates, utensils and oh coffee machine. Mike even allowed my guest and I to take photos on his truck! Gave my parents a farm tour which they lamented was phenomenal. The linens were more than enough…beds super comfy! Spacious areas and the bar is fully functional and neat. Doors were a bit squeaky…nothing a little grease can’t fix. Bathrooms were clean and well kept.
Amazing 200+ year old property in the historic Gettysburg area. Mike (the property owner) gave a complete tour of the property and provided fresh eggs from the chickens living (in a coop) on the property. Great time for a group of old friends who were shooting sporting clays in the area.
There was plenty of room for our entire group of 9 to spread out. The beds were comfortable, the space was good for conversations and dining. We came during a cold snap, and the house was hard to heat, but we worked with the host to make things more comfortable. Also, it warmed up from record cold of 11 degrees Fahrenheit to 30, which made a difference.
The house is so impressive - if you are a history buff this is the place for you! If the owner is willing, it's worth getting a tour from him. I was fortunate enough to get a tour - fascinating history and the subtle modernizations that have been done to maintain comfort.
Beds were very comfortable, room temperatures were adjustable, house was spotless. I would definitely recommend this mansion to anyone that appreciates history.
We enjoyed this unique property which added wonderful memories to a large family gathering in Westminster. I only wish that we would have been at the house more over our rental period.
The property delivered on its promises.

Trevanion is even more perfect for a reunion now than it was a year ago! Great place to reunite with friends. We actually never left the property from Friday to Sunday. Did yoga on the front lawn, explored the property and had plenty of space inside to eat and relax. There were 14 women and we were more than comfortable there. Mike is a wonderful host and very accommodating. We’ll be back.
My son was getting married at a venue that was close by. I had family coming from Massachusetts and Canada but I wanted us to be together. It was a beautiful home. Very clean, tons of character! The beds were comfortable. The host was a great communicator and very much available during our stay. My mother absolutely loved the house!
