"We loved this hotel. We arrived early and were able to get into the room. We used their transport to and from the airport. The drivers were very punctual. From start to finish, the staff were friendly and very helpful. The included breakfast was excellent. The room was spacious and spotless. The roof top pool was a nice place to relax after touring all day. It was a great location, on a quiet street but a short walk to shops and restaurants. Highly recommend Palais Le Brun."

"San Karlu is an excellent hotel. The location is perfect and Republic Street is just a few minutes away. The hotel is located off a road down a wide alley so you can get a taxi to very close to the hotel and the street is very safe and well lit at night. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spotless when we checked in and cleaned thoroughly every day. The room we had looked over the courtyard/alley below. Breakfast was good quality. The best feature of the hotel was the rooftop pool. We were there in September and it was very hot, so the pool was wonderful and appeared new (also very clean and well maintained). It really made the hotel worth the five stars."

However, the noise from the bars close by does continue well into the early hours of the morning. The hotel does provide ear plugs but if you are a light sleeper and go to bed early you will need to bare this in mind"

"The staff and cleaners were lovely, we enjoyed our stay here and they upgraded one of our rooms due to the occasion which we loved! The staff and concierge were absolutely lovely and they helped us as much as they could. The whole hotel has an outdated look though, which if upgraded would make this hotel an amazing one, but the corridors and room have a very old feel to it and a few of the things in the rooms were missing/broken. We only stayed for 2 nights so it wasn’t a massive problem. The restaurants close to the hotel were lovely, I’d highly recommend Caviar & Bull which is on the property, around a 3-5 minute walk. The beach was lovely and all the amenities around were amazing. There were so many pools to choose from! Overall this property was amazing but is extremely outdated, thank you for the stay!"

Gym wasn't working which wasn't ideal as husband training for a big run after we got home so had to go outside in the heat which was tough. Staff all helpful and friendly from the cleaning crew to the reception team. Food in the restaurant was also very good. Would certainly recommend."

"The cleaners did an excellent job, every day the room was cleaned tidied up, beds made and fresh bottles of water, shower gels/shampoo/moisturisers left. Staff helpful and gave good advice. A/C excellent and the breakfasts wonderful and a fantastic selection. The reception desk is not manned 24 hours of the day. The front doors are locked at 21.30pm, you are given a door code to tap in to enter. Take a photo of it on your phone because you are bound to loose it. There was never a problem for us. A great location too, close to everything."
