「What a lovely experience. Fairway Guesthouse was sublimely superb. As a location with an absolutely stunning view of the golf course overlooking the sea and Durban cityscapes, as well as the absolutely wonderful friendly service, that simply made us feel home away from home. 「The core issue on this stay was that while I clearly booked Suite 3 specifically on the site, on arrival I was given Room 1 and told that the previous client had extended his stay. This was done without solutions to accommodate my booking nor compensation for the change which was inconvenient for me, given I had opted for Room 3 because of a desk I needed for working. While the room was comfortable, it did inconvenience and I was provided no excuse nor service to apologize.」

「The property was clean and tidy, I think it was very nice when they did it but now looking like it could do with a face lift! The swimming pools were old and didn't look very clean either! Very few activities offered to adults staying in there. The bar an restaurant area could host a few evening events and liven up the place a bit! In general the area has nothing cultural to do!」
