Located just 1 block from the beach with direct beach access via a private street, where you can enjoy one of the most sought-after beaches on the island! This home includes a working elevator..
Located on the South end of Tybee Island, just steps away from the 18th Street beach access. This extremely desirable location offers the perks of being where all the action is (STEPS from the beach and a SHORT walk to the island`s amenities such as shops, restaurants, and bars), but is tucked away on a private drive to provide privacy and serenity for your beach vacation.
Tybee Retreat`s condo #4 offers an open-concept living space that is tastefully decorated and fully equipped with all the comforts of home. The comfortably furnished living space opens to a covered patio with a teak dining table and chairs, perfect for enjoying the ocean breeze. Come and enjoy!

Tybee Retreat has a total of 4 condo units, each with covered ground-level parking for 2 vehicles. Please note that oversized trucks and SUVs may not fit under this covered parking area. Tybee Retreat utilizes security cameras at the front of the building to ensure guest safety at the street level.

The house is located so there are no easy views of the beach or ocean. The kitchen stove and microwave are very worn, the microwave wall coatings were coming off. Kitchen skillets are in need of being replaced. We experienced one bed that the flat sheet had a hole in it. The one upstairs bathroom tub needed caulking and the shower curtain needs to be replaced. Trash was removed from one of the upstairs beds. Sand was throughout the couches and cushioned furniture. Over all cleanliness was not the greatest. The lower sliding glass door was extremely in need of replacement, the door track was severely worn making the door not to slide easily, in other words it was difficult to open and close. As far as I am concerned I will never stay in this house again, not worth the rental dollars.

Prime location
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. You can’t get a better location than this! We parked our car when we got there and didn’t move it until we left! Restaurants and shops were super close and the beach was just steps away. Property manager was great and the home was very nice. The porches were a very nice feature and plenty of space for everyone.

Location, ammenties, and size
Our stay here was great!! Plenty of space for our large group and enough beds to go around. The kids loved the shuffleboard table and the adults loved the ease of getting around. We had a wonderful time and the place was well stocked with things we didnt bring. Also great toiletries in the vathroom too!

Family vacation

Family vacation
We loved that this unit basically had two separate living areas giving our adult children privacy as well as our own space. We love the location and proximity to the beach and restaurants we love. Our main reason for choosing this unit was that it is pet friendly! Code didn’t work at check in but they were super quick to fix it!

Amazing service
We loved everything about this place. We had 2 people who are disabled with us but the condo has an elevator so they had no issues. Our on site property manager was Jordan and she was amazing. So sweet and accommodating in every way possible. The condo is also so close to everything we wanted to go to! We cannot wait to stay here again!

Nice place!
This property was perfect for us. We had never spent time on south beach before and I really liked it. The house was a short, easy walk from either 17th or 18th street beach access. There were plenty of linens and kitchen supplies. Layout was awesome for our group. Kids could use the upper common space while adults socialized in the lower one. Loved that we could use the beach gear left behind by previous guests. The only complaint was that the upstairs couches were not terribly comfortable. Otherwise stellar property!

Wonderful Condo, Close to the Beach!
We had such a wonderful stay! The condo was close to the beach. We had 6 adults and 4 kids in the house and it was plenty of room! The upstairs had another living area which was perfect for the kids. It was clean and the host was very responsive and welcoming. We will definitely try to stay here again.

Overall great place
The house was very spacious, clean, and well stocked. The beds were all very comfortable, with the exception of the "futon" that was actually a broken and unusable pull out couch bed. Thankfully we had an air mattress so it wasnt a huge deal for us, but definitely needs to be replaced. Overall we had a wonderful time, and would absolutely stay here again!

Great place to stay
We were in town for a family wedding & had family from 1 to 87 staying at this condo. The condo is nicely decorated and well stocked. The number of beds made it perfect for us, and all of them were comfy. Definitely recommend.

Perfect layout for us
The property was the perfect layout for us. The older adults downstairs and the teenagers had their own area upstairs. As mentioned in previous reviews, the condo is roomier than it appears in pictures and an easy walk to the beach. Great location on island with walking to food and shopping.
