We very much enjoyed our stay, despite it being cut short by a hurricane. The location is fantastic; you can easily walk to the beach or the restaurants and bars on the island.
We arrived to find the cottage clean and well-maintained. The first night we chose to sleep upstairs, but we quickly learned you're in for a cooler night's sleep with a bigger bathroom in the bedroom off the patio. The house keeps plenty cool -- we just like it absolutely frigid at night.
The kitchen was well-stocked with all the needed dishes and cookware, and the standalone ice machine was a nice bonus. The beds were comfortable, and there were plenty of nice towels available. The beach amenities in the shed were also great to have.
The pool was very clean and a great spot to relax after a trip to the beach. You'll find a nice bit of shade at the pool in the late afternoon, but you can always go up to the roof deck if you want to lounge in the sun.
The owner's were proactive with communication throughout the trip. They were kind enough to provide a detailed, but long, reference guide to the house that answers just about any question you may have. The guide could use a few minor updates (e.g. there is no longer a recycling pickup), but it was still helpful to have.
All in all, minus the hurricane, it was a good trip and a great stay.
