"The reason this hotel stands out is because it was just totally refurbished. You can still smell the new paint in my room. Apparently the Spark brand buys older hotels and then modernizes them up and redoes them. "

"We loved staying in this home! There was a nice play area indoors for our young children, the kitchen is well stocked with everything we needed to cook all of our meals, the rooms are very comfortable, and the house was equipped with all the things we needed from linens to towels to games. The ping pong and pool tables were a big hit! We enjoyed kayaking in the lake and playing pickle ball at the nearby community center. The owner was easily and quickly accessible via text."

"Super clean room, comfortable beds with nice sheets and comforter, microwave and fridge, small coffee machine with disposable drip filter, 1st dog free and only paid $15 for the second one. I did not check out the breakfast so don’t much about it but the coffe they supplied was surprisingly good. There was plenty of grass on which to walk the dogs and good supply of bags. The check in clerk was super nice and efficient and the property was very well kept, some cigarette butts around the dog walk area but not bad. It was totally brightly lit at night including all hallways and all the parking areas. It felt very safe and well managed. Great price, great room!"

"We had a nice, relaxing Christmas vacation with the kids and grandkids. The view of the lake was amazing, and the covered back deck was a plus! The newly renovated downstairs basement was nice also with plenty of rooms and beds. The basement does not have central heat/ air, so it’s a good thing that the weather wasn’t too cold. The refrigerator upstairs had a water leak from the bottom, but we just placed a towel there several times during our stay. Maybe the owners should think about buying an air fryer as well. Overall though my family enjoyed it. "
