"What an amazing experience! I would give the host 6 stars if I could! She was incredibly responsive and so incredibly kind. They wanted us to have the very best experience and that meant the world to us! The huge back deck was a dream! It was also the backdrop for an amazing view from the gigantic kitchen counter as we were making dinner. My husband and I love to cook, and the kitchen was very well stocked! Go to Bayou La Batre, buy fresh shrimp off of the boat, and BBQ it on the kettle grill. Bring your bikes because you are minutes from the west end beach and the private beach across the street. In fact, we biked from end to end of the island. We didn't even need a car. Even during "busy season" the beaches are incredibly beautiful and bare. This house was the PERFECT foundation for the PERFECT vacation spot."

"We had an amazing time! My husband and kids loved fishing off the dock. The kids also liked kayaking right out back! We enjoyed our time relaxing and spending time together. The property was great and had everything we needed! 10/10!!"

"The house itself was okay. Definitely would look for new cleaning company. We had to do a little minor cleaning when we got there. We had an issue with the kitchen sink being clogged, someone was there quickly when I reported it. Could use a little work, but all in all, we enjoyed our stay."

"This was an excellent property. Only 1 house away from the beach and the bay side was within view across the street. It is close to West End public beach as well. The house is clean, well kept and everything in great shape. Having a pool is a fantastic plus. Our family of 15 was comfortable and very pleased with our stay. We would definitely stay here again."

"We had an amazing stay! The house was absolutely beautiful and looked brand new. It was spotless, spacious, and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. The bay views were breathtaking, especially at sunrise and sunset.The only tip for future guests is to bring plenty of bug spray if you plan to spend time outdoors—the mosquitoes can be pretty intense this time of year.We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a beautiful, comfortable getaway!"

"My family and I enjoyed our stay at this gulf front property. Pros: The location can't be beat! We ened up not even needing to set up our shade structures. The home is close enough to the gulf that the deck provided ample shade for the beach. The number of bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect for providing space for our family to spread out, and have their own space, while still being connected. The home was very family friendly, and great for our 2 year old grandson. Kristen was very responsive to any hiccups we encountered during our stay. She even checked in on us regarding issues the prior guests had to make sure we were comfortable. Inconviences: As prior reviews have noted, upon arrival we did need to clean the floors, counters, etc. that were covered in sand. Also, needing to make sure all the towels were washed and dried and put away before leaving did delay our departure a bit since we wanted to eat breakfast and shower before hitting the road. We also encountered a bug problem, but Kristen was very receptive to the issue, and sent out two different people to address the issue. Overall, we were VERY happy with our stay and our interactions with the owners."
