"The property was exactly as described, no surprises, clean, well stocked, comfortable. We got some amazing pictures of the sunrise from the back deck, also some pictures of the moon light reflecting on the water. Absolutely beautiful !!! We tried fishing from the pier and caught 2 small trout (water was low and I think our bait was too big). We also tried crab fishing, caught 1 good sized blue claw crab, plus a smaller crab, and a fish. It was fun to try something new but we let them go. Bought crab and shrimp from the local fish market and ate that instead.The weather was great so we spent a lot of time outside. The porch swing and the hammocks were a hit. We also had a bonfire on our last night and watched the stars come out. The moon was nearly full and it lit up the bay. It was a perfect night !!! Definitely would book this property again."

"I had an excellent stay. The location was great and the home was very clean and comfortable. There were no issues with the stay, but there was a hurricane (near miss) that passed through two days before my scheduled visit, and I received timely communication confirming my stay."

"We had a wonderful experience at Barefoot Bungalow! The location is fantastic, with beautiful Gulf views and easy access to the beach. The house was spacious and comfortable for our family of nine, and we loved being able to spend time together and enjoy the island.Unfortunately, our vacation was cut short due to a mandatory hurricane evacuation, but what truly stood out was how amazing our hosts, Jason and Carla, were throughout the entire situation. They were incredibly kind, proactive, and communicative, keeping us informed and making our family’s safety their top priority. They also went above and beyond to help us navigate the unexpected early departure and reimbursement process.Although we didn’t get the full vacation we had hoped for, we made some wonderful memories during our time there. We are already looking forward to returning next October!We highly recommend Barefoot Bungalow, not only for the beautiful location and accommodations, but especially for the outstanding hospitality. Thank you, Jason and Carla, for everything!"

"This beach house was by far our favorite one we’ve stayed at. The layout was beautiful and the house was very clean and easy access to the beach. Beautiful view from the kitchen and was very comfortable. Host was very responsive and helpful!"
