"This is my all-time favorite hotel in the entire country. Only a 25-minute drive to dauphin Island. Some of the most delicious food you will eat about 5 minutes down the road. The Little couple that owns this hotel are the sweetest people that you could ever meet. If you're wanting to get a weekend away and have a nice quiet day on the beach I suggest staying at this hotel. They are super friendly. Super clean. And totally worth it"

"Immaculate home, beautifully decorated, was a perfect place for a long weekend. It actually lives much larger than its ample square footage so it could be ideal for 3-4 couples with its 4 bedrooms and private baths and a pool. There are multiple places to enjoy the large decks on comfortable furniture (breezy even in 90-degree weather). There were just two of us so it was more spacious than we 'needed' but we were looking for something peaceful and quiet without construction, traffic and other noise. The nearly constant peaceful dove cooing was the noisiest thing about the trip. What a lovely getaway! "

"Sol-Mate was absolutely our favorite of all the places we have stayed on the island. Convenient for fishing with EVERYTHING within reach. Walkways/ porches all the way around. Beach house. And a gorgeous sunset every afternoon. We did not want to leave. And will definitely be back soon. Owners were available for any questions or concerns which were only about dates for the future. No issues at all with our stay."
