「Idyllic mountain setting and very comfortable and quiet rooms.」

「The area is rural in Georgia. Room was not as clean as it could have been. Dirt in the corners and along the bathroom floor. Tub was not clean. Our wash cloths were stained with black marks. The wall by the toilet had brown marks on them. We stayed three nights to be close to our daughter who had moved there last year. We booked online because we were not familiar with the area. One of the nights someone on the first floor was smoking the illegal weed in their room. Unfortunately it could be...

「The room was large, clean and comfortable. The price of the room was great! The only deterrent is, you have to carry your luggage up a large flight of steps. But they tell you this many times, when you book. We packed a back pack for our over night stay. So going up and down steps was no problem. 」

「I've stayed at other hotels in Clayton Over the past 40 years and I have to say so far dollar to value this gem beats them all. Conveniently located just off road, friendly staff and clean as a whistle rooms. 」

We found mold in the shower and hair on the linens, and the floors were so dirty that our feet felt grimey just walking across the carpet. It’s a charming older building, but it requires a much deeper level of cleaning to be comfortable. Hopefully, management can address these maintenance and sanitation issues. 」

「This motel was amazing. It was clean, quiet, had everything a person could need. The owner, Frank, welcomed us and explained how things worked in the room. They have a nice firepit area as well. We felt safe and were well rested for our next days travel. 」

「Linda and Mike were outstanding hosts and welcoming to us. They were accommodating to special diet needs, and anxious to meet our requests. Food was delicious, the sitting area was cozy and our room was perfect. If it were possible we’d give 10 stars. Mike us a tour of the mill and a history of the property that made the whole experience fulfilling. 」

「The rooms are large and spacious. However the carpet was sticky feeling and the bathroom floor was also sticky. The blow dryer didn’t have off and on, you just plug it in and it got really hot to touch. Staff was EXCELLENT Location was EXCELLENT 」
