This pod is perfect for couples looking for a peaceful relaxing break, benefitting from proximity to the Dark Sky Area of the Cambrian Mountains.. All on the Ground Floor:
Open plan living space.
Living area: 32" Freeview TV, Sofa Bed (Double) (Flexible Sleeping Only)
Dining area.
Kitchen area: Induction Hob, Microwave, Fridge/Freezer
Bedroom area: Double (4ft 6in) Bed
Shower Room: Cubicle Shower, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet. Electric underfloor central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial logs for fire pit included, remainder available at cost. Welcome pack.. Decking with sitting-out area, garden furniture and BBQ. Hot tub for 2 (private). Fishing on-site (licence required). Fire pit. Electric vehicle charging point (charging rates apply). Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. This Welsh Tourist Board Gold Award luxury glamping pod nestles at the foothills of the Cambrian Mountains, perfect for that romantic break, sitting in quiet open countryside with its own fishing rights on the River Teifi. Ideally located for exploring the countryside, walks can be taken directly from the door, and for those wanting to mountain bike there are plenty of trails in the area.
The dark skies here are fantastic and at certain times of the year our guests have experienced the Northern Lights as well as seeing the Milky Way and various constellations. It truly is a great play day or night.
By day this is a great location for exploring. The market town of Tregaron is nearby where you will be able to visit Rhiannon Welsh Gold Centre and the other various cafes and shops. Tregaron is also famous for Cors Caron Nature Reserve where you will be able to take several different walks. Devil’s Bridge famous water falls are only 30 mins drive away where you can catch the steam train to Aberystwyth.
National Trust sites Dolaucothi gold mines and Llanerchaeron are with easy reach and a 30-minute drive will bring you to the stunning Ceredigion coastline with its coastal path, pretty seaside towns like Aberaeron famous for its honey ice-cream or New Quay, a seaside town full of different coastal activities including dolphin watching boat trips.
Also worth a visit is the seaside town of Aberystwyth with pier and long promenade and cliff railway so you have the best of both worlds at your fingertips. Salmon and trout fishing on the river can be enjoyed between March and October (licence required). whatever you decide to do, come back to this lovely pod, relax, jump in the hot tub and have a glass of something bubbly whilst admiring the star filled sky. Beach 15 miles. Shop and pub 1½ miles, restaurant 5 miles.
