「A lovely place to stay and very professional and friendly staff 」

「I surprised my wife with the booking as we were both off work to celebrate my birthday. She was impressed so much so she wants to go back next year in the summer. On the last day however, we were served by a young man who didn’t seem to like my wife’s order and had a terrible attitude towards us but thankfully we were leaving afterwards. 」

「I arrived at The Great Western for 5 nights B&B and my pre booked parking space was ready when I pulled into the car park. The lady on reception was welcoming and talked me through the booking in process. My room was on the second floor, and there is a lift or stairs to get there. Definitely easier in the lift if you have bags. I was very impressed with my double room that overlooked the front car park and main road. It was very spacious and clean. Yes, it’s a little tired looking in places but...

「We ended up here by accident after being double booked at another (unrelated) hotel. We were made to feel so welcome and looked after that we quickly forgot about the ordeal from the night before ! The room was gorgeous with stunning views. The hotel and spa were clean, staff were friendly, the food was excellent. We are so glad we stumbled upon this hidden gem and can’t wait to return! 」

「We have stayed here before and would stay again, it’s a fair price, more than just clean and tidy room (see more below), in a central location for exploring locally or getting in and out by car, and it has parking. This time we stayed in a room with a sea view balcony, which had a lovely view and was clean, tidy and comfortable but with a modern and homey feel. There was a spare radiator and fan in the room in case of weather change which was a comfort nice to have the choice in our hands. The...
