"The apartment is in a very central position in Lixouri. Ideal for the square, the ferry and all that Lixouri has to offer. The apartment was clean when we arrived, was cleaned once during our stay - perfect for us. It is well refurbished and had all the amenities we needed and as described. We had good sleeps (apart from the church bells on Sunday morning but this is to be expected in any Greek town). Good bed and pillows. Excellent blinds to keep it dark. Very nice balcony for two people...

"Staff were super friendly. Hotel felt spacious, lots of sun loungers to choose from on the beach. Easy walk to tavernas and bars, as well as a mini market, both beach side and up in the village. The yoga classes were great-not all for yoga bunnies which was a relief!! The gym facilities super. Amazing sunsets every night. Concierge helped us with taxis, hire cars and gave a great outside recommendation for our anniversary dinner one night. Loved it"

Villa Sia - Two Bedroom Villa, Sleeps 4

"Villa Sia was a smart modern home from home with a pleasant pool area and shaded outdoor dining. The decor was smart, modern but quite sparse. There was no cleaning equipment other than a broom and a mop so we had to take a trip to the local supermarket (5 minute drive) to purchase washing up liquid, cloths and extra toilet rolls (only 2 were provided for 3 people for a week!). Also there was no hand soap provided at all. The pool area was clean and smart but slightly overlooked, and I feel could have benefitted from having some plants to make it less sterile. The driveway up to the villas from the lane was EXTREMELY steep, to the point that our little Toyota Aygo was screaming and wheel spinning with three people and luggage on board! If your mobility was reduced it would be a very difficult climb on foot, with parking half way up. Nearby was a taverna which served delicious meals, and a beach bar offering loungers for a small charge, alongside snacks and drinks. The staff in the taverna were helpful and friendly, for the most part! The staff in the beach bar were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Overall the villa was clean, smart and comfortable but missing a few finishing touches which would have provided a more homely feel."

"Our stay in the villa was excellent. It was spotless and very well appointed with everything we needed. We lived the position of the villa within walking distance to two excellent tavernas and a supermarket. The walk to the beach was steep but beautiful and gave us a real feeling of Kefalonia, the people were so friendly and accommodating . They were more than happy to change the menu or point out gluten free options as I am a coeliac which was so helpful. Communication was excellent and the gardener for the villa was truly brilliant giving us ideas for places to go and eat, There were absolutely no issues and we had a splendid holiday."

"Absolutely amazing Villa, we have stayed in villas around the world and Villa Nora is most definitely one of the best equipped we have stayed in. The villa is welcoming and extremely comfortable, very clean obviously looked after very well. It is situated in a lovely quiet area and it is completely private with no one overlooking the pool or outside area. The whole experience from the day we booked to the day we left was amazing and we would highly recommend this beautiful villa. Although it isn’t a necessity, I would recommend to hire a car as the beaches and cars are quite a walk and the roads down down to Trapezaki beach is lovely, but a very steep trek back up!"

"Kefalonia is a truly stunning island and we had a fantastic holiday. Our villa was excellent, beautifully situated in the hills and surrounded by olive and fruit trees. It was the perfect size for two people, and the private pool was just right for relaxing and cooling off.One of the things we particularly enjoyed was the privacy. The villa was surrounded by hedges, giving us complete privacy from the neighbours and making the pool area feel very peaceful and secluded.The housekeeping service was also excellent. The sheets were changed every three days, which was a lovely touch and helped make our stay even more comfortable.There are several lovely restaurants within about a ten-minute walk, as well as a local mini-market that is surprisingly well stocked with everything you need for everyday essentials. There is also a Lidl approximately a 20-minute drive away.The location is ideal for exploring, with several gorgeous beaches within easy driving distance. We enjoyed the combination of relaxing at the villa and getting out to discover the beautiful island.Overall, we had a fantastic time and would have no hesitation in recommending this villa to anyone looking for a peaceful, private and relaxing holiday in Kefalonia. We would happily stay here again!"
