Starting after booking, the hosts / owners were happy to answer any questions and help us prepare for the trip even before we arrived. 「This place is amazing. It has everything one could possibly think of. The cabin is beautiful, cozy and the beds were very comfortable. Lisa and Phil were very pleasant. The location on the lake was perfect, so calm and not a lot of boat traffic. Made for sitting out on the deck very peaceful. I would highly recommend this property to anyone and everyone. 「The accommodations in the “Eagles Nest” were perfectly fine for our 2 night stay. If we go again we would try to get one of the cabins for a more secluded stay as they are a little bit away from the lodge vs staying in the lodges. Overall the property and room were very quiet, the owners were very nice and it was perfect for seeing the Black Bears in Orr, MN.」

「This is a remodeled lake house that is cozy and has beautiful lake views off the deck. It is nestled in a forest with a new bike trail a block away. It is close to the Soudan Underground Mine, the International Wolf Center, the North American Bear Center, and lots of state parks and national forest. The owners were great.」

「Had a wonderful annual holiday with friends. If we weren’t hoping to add another couple next year we would book same again but we need a second shower with more people. The house is spacious and homey and kitchen had everything we needed to cook fish all week. Docks are well maintained and porch and fire pit area were well- enjoyed. We even took the kayak and paddle board for a spin. It was really hard to leave!」
