"Wonderful place for families "

"A perfect, peaceful getaway surrounded by nature! I stayed at Cabins on Halls for two nights and had an absolutely wonderful time. The location is incredibly isolated and peaceful—there is zero noise and no one else around, making it the perfect escape. The wildlife is amazing, with plenty of kangaroos and lots of birds right on the property. The cabin was exceptionally clean and well-serviced. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the utensils you could possibly need, and a huge bonus was the fast Starlink internet, which worked flawlessly. While the bathroom and shower facilities are a little bit dated, they were completely spotless and everything worked perfectly. Overall, I really loved my stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet retreat! "

"We had a wonderful time at this beautiful historic hotel. The staff are the greatest asset, and provide genuine, heartfelt excellent service in everything they do. The team that looks after the rooms is also exceptional. Having seen some other people’s reviews, I think you need to bear in mind that this is a building which is more than 100 years old, and it has been updated to a very comfortable and pleasant experience. But it is not a recent construction. I hardly recommend the convent if you are traveling to the Hunter Valley"

"The accommodation was utilised as a base for us to explore the local area. Well situated for our exposure to this beautiful area. Had an excellent restaurant, is situated in an area that has a multitude of excellent restaurants. The lodge rooms are well set up for meals. We really enjoyed our stay."

"We really enjoyed our stay, spacious clean and comfy room, great location in the heart of Pokolbin and a great price, very walkable to many winieries. My only criticism, we stayed for 3 nights, no one told us rooms were only seviced on request, this should be communicated at checkin or a note in the room."

"Location is perfect, property is a beautiful old homestead however with old there is a few little issues like snakes in the area, not a issue really expect with in the main bedroom there is a large gap under the door leading outside for them to enter. Some repairs to property needed (cracks in walls, fresh paint, clean the walls) House had everything you could need, and great for large groups. "
