"Very clean. Efficient room layout. Great shower water pressure (no tub in standard double room in this case, 1101). Breakfast buffet is 2500 yen (pricey but very good quality and great selection of foods including grilled salmon, tuna and scallop sashimi, bakery goods, etc.) Relaxation room and spa on 13F including free popsicle from 1500 to 2500 and free noodles from 2130 to 2300 at the restaurant on 4G. 10 minutes walk from JR Aomori station (which has several restaurants as well including a Starbucks). About 10 minutes walk from the pier though in winter, snowdrift will detour you. Speaking of, road are clear, sidewalks, not so much so get an IDL."

"Room was excellent. It had a small couch and small table to have a small snacks. You can use a beitiful local crafted glasses. Easy to go to Nebuta museum, Wa Rasse and ASPAM. Also, near the donwtown area. Walking distance from Aomori station. We loved the staybat this hotel."

"I stayed here for 4 days in November. The hotel is a short walk away from Aomori train station, close to several combini and surrounded by restaurants. My room was fairly small but more than adequate for a solo traveller, although if you have a lot of luggage space may be a little limited. I liked the fact that the wondow in the room opens as I hate sleeping in an overly warm room. I liked the bathroom unit, where I could shower without needing to climb into the tub. The room had a mini fridge and kettle. The usual bathroom supplies that Japanese hotels almost always supply are available in the lobby, including slippers and bath salts. Hotel wifi was excellent. The hotel has 2 washing machines plus 2 dryers and they worked well when I used them a couple of times. There is also an ice machine and vending machine with a variety of drinks. In the hotel room was a reusable water bottle and there are water dispensers on each floor, which I thought was a much better idea than providing free water in plastic bottles. Breakfast is in a lovely large room and the variety of food available was impressive and of good quality. I'd happily stay in this hotel again if I return to Aomori."

"Wonderful stay. Impeccable service. Remote but rustically decadent. So relaxing and cozy during our stay between fall and winter. We missed the peak fall leaves but that did not detract from the natural beauty of this area and we still enjoyed the waterfalls of Oirase gorge and the small loop around Tsuta pond greatly. If anything the onsens were even more enjoyable in the cold weather, and we were grateful to have the opportunity to stay in such a historic and well-kept ryokan. "
