「One night stop over - staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel has lots of character with main areas and rooms. Rooms and bathroom were a great size and with everything you need in. View out on to the harbour and little area outside were really lovely. Lovely walk down the promenade to the centre 」

「Some resident/or residents used the toaster just after 7am Saturday morning so this was a bit distressing rushing downstairs then back upstairs to help a family member downstairs ( mobility issues) Other than the above room was clean reception lady was lovely cleaners were friendly. Thank you but perhaps a talk to residents about safety while using facilities 」

「We enjoyed how warm the room stayed, considering it was chilly and windy outside. The room also had a sink in it which was very convenient. The staff was short and rude with us and unaccommodating, which is our only complaint of the facility. It is a very bare bones place so if you are simply looking for a place to rest your head at the end of the day, this is a good choice.」

「Lovely, quirky little hotel set close to main town centre. Parking is at the local carpark so have to pay during working hours but it's just up the road so easy to access. George was very helpful about restaurants, pubs, etc. Room was at the top front and very comfortable albeit quite small and we were at the top so stairs could be an issue for some guests. Lovely view over Oban bay so well worth the climb. Al in all great ttle hotel for a short visit. 」

「Such a disappointment, the room was small and old fashioned. Very little space for two people, and damp in the atmosphere. Towels never dried and had to shower and air dry as gettibg dried with a cold damp towel was no fun. Check in security was pior, anyon can just walk in and pick up keys to a room , no staff around and when you rang the numbers for contact there was no answer from all three!」

「I had a 2 night business trip so cost was important. The cost was within my allocated budget. The room was well kitted out. Kettle, fridge, ironing facilities, coffee,tea, table to work at, comfortable bed and a tv. Even had a clock alarm at side of bed and a hairdryer. Towels aplenty and a wonderful high pressure shower. I am sure I have not included everything but would highly recomend this guest house to anyone in oban for a short stay.」

「Excellent location spotlessly clean spacious appartment」

「Firstly this property is in a beautiful location and there are a number of places worth visiting in the area. The kitchen is excellent and the balcony was well used in the sunny weather. Everything that was promised in the apartment with 2 baths and a sauna. However, as it highlighted in the previous review the bed is not comfortable and the pillows are poor. It seems picky to highlight these things but you do need to sleep and it is a luxury accommodation which we and other people are paying...

「Beautiful spot in the countryside with a wee stream running behind the cottage, very peaceful. We booked as 5 adults, Hotels.com simply stated 2 double beds and 2 single beds. Did not say that all but one double bed were in the same room… so my husband and 24 year old son had to take one room, and sleep in a double bed! And us girls had to take the other one. Assumed there would be 3 bedrooms? Anyway, nice stay. Think Hotels.com should mention only enough wood and kindling for one heat, so had...
