"Wonderful view, great to have a balcony, and underground parking a plus! It wouldn’t take much to make this an excellent stay with a few nice and easy touches added. For the price, an extra bar of soap ( we had 1 for 3 nights), added toilet paper ( we had 1 and partial roll) written instructions for the fireplace, temp control, tv, ( challenging for even the tech savvy) and bathrobes would have been welcomed. Amenities noted in the Lobby ( popcorn and doughnuts) seemed to be missing all 4-5x we tried."

"We have been visiting Duluth for several years where our son, his wife, and girls now reside. In the early years we stayed in downtown hotels. After a few years we switched to VRBOs on Lake Superior. The PumpHouse had not available during the Heck of the North weekend until this year. From my perspective, someone who grew up on the water in Maine and a real estate broker who has been selling Maine waterfront properties for decades, the PumpHouse is the most amazing property/location I have ever seen and enjoyed. If it ever came up for sale, I would be a very interested buyer. And I am so happy it is a VRBO, so others get to enjoy it like we did. The history of the house is so fascinating. I feel honored to have been apart of the story."
