The location is great! You have 5 metro lines right outside the hostel and the neighborhood is calm. In the hostel, it is quiet and peaceful. The only thing is that the suitcase room is small and, if you have the bunk-style capsule bed, the locket is very small.

First time solo travelling and this was the perfect place to start with. Such a relaxing place, enjoyed the quiet atmosphere when waking up and coming back from a long day. The staff were extremely lovely and respectful and made sure everyone’s stay was as relaxing as possible. I’ll be coming back for sure !!

Everything was clean, good location close to several train lines and shops/restaurants. The only real minus here is that the space is extremely narrow, so while there is storage under each capsule, getting stuff out of your suitcase is not super easy and will block the whole walkpath. This also creates a lot of noise of course, so beware of that. One thing they should do to help with this is mount wall hooks inside each capsule so you could hang backpacks, tote bags, and clothes etc so you are less tied to getting stuff from your storage compartment/suitcase all the time. This would be a massive upgrade in terms of utilizing the space better!

There were no staff. Checking in was tedious. It wasn’t user-friendly at all- not pleasant for a late night arrival and first timer in Japan.

Good for One Night, But Not for an Extended Stay Enso Tokyo might be an option if you’re just looking for somewhere to stay for one night, but I honestly wouldn’t recommend it for a longer visit. The biggest issue is the lack of privacy and comfort. Everything is shared, and you’re staying extremely close to other guests, so you constantly hear people moving around, talking, and making noise. Unfortunately, this makes it very difficult to get a good night’s sleep. While the concept might work for travelers who don’t mind shared accommodations, I found it inconvenient, especially when you’re spending your days exploring Tokyo and need a comfortable place to rest and recharge. My advice: It’s okay for a quick overnight stay if you’re on a tight budget, but if you’re staying several nights in Tokyo, I’d recommend spending a little more for a private room somewhere else. Your sleep and comfort are worth it.
