"When they say that 4x4 with high clearance is required, it is no joke. At least if you turn from Rt 142 driving from Monteverde. 6km of off roading at crawl speed. Fun if you are prepared. The road from the opposite direction is better paved, but you would still feel more comfortable in a SUV. Google does not estimate driving time on bad roads correctly. "Stayed here for a night. Orlando, the owner, welcomed us and showed us the room. He was very nice and hospitable. The room was clean, I liked the interior design of the suite we got. We met two kittens who were friendly. If you like cats, they will gladly enter your room. If you don’t, you might want to consider. They are very sneaky going inside, but they are cute. "We really enjoyed our stay at Eco Sol! The view was spectacular and the bed was very comfortable! Dahana was easy to contact and very helpful. You definitely need a 4 x 4 to get there. Parts of the road are rough, but worth it when you get there! We would definitely stay here again. "

"Wow! What a wonderful property, we did not want to leave. So comfortable and luxurious, with beautiful verandah and an outside bathtub and shower. Our teenagers loved it too, gorgeous pool area and comfortable rooms and great kitchen. We also so enjoyed viewing toucans, humming birds and other wildlife right from our porch. Good WiFi and netflix etc. Laundry also done for us. Overall a brilliant stay!"
