The curtains were dirty and torn. Overall design a little dated. Pool was unacceptable conditions (moldy). We did have a sauna in the room which is a nice touch. We arrived at 5 and to room was not done yet. Nevertheless we choose to have a good time. Location is amazing.

Hotel goed gelegen met mooi uitzicht, Op de slaapbank was duidelijk gerookt, terwijl dit verboden was. Afval van voorganger(s) niet weggehaald. Vlekken op matras. Met klachten werd niets gedaan.

Tired hotel, not what it appears.

After a 150km bike ride in 35 degree heat we arrived at 6pm. The ladies at the spa pool were super rude, no towels, offered us sheets. Our second bed in the apartment wasn't made up and we had to asl for sheets and do it ourselves.

Horrible

We had a very disappointing stay at this hotel. Upon arrival, we had to wait over 30 minutes just for someone to check us in. The elevator was out of service, which was extremely inconvenient, especially with luggage. Cleanliness was by far the biggest issue. The apartment was crawling with bugs—spiders and webs in every corner, and hundreds of ants on the balcony. The kitchen in the “deluxe” apartment had no cooker, the cutlery was dirty, and there was no soap provided to clean anything. The air conditioner was filthy and clearly hadn’t been maintained, with dust and grime clogging the filter. The bathroom was poorly designed—the showerhead was so low it didn’t even reach adult height. The general upkeep of the room and facilities was unacceptable. Breakfast was awful. The food seemed old, possibly from the previous day, and we ended up eating our own. The service throughout was disorganized and careless—it appeared that three very young girls were running the entire operation without much training or concern for guests. We also tried the spa, which turned out to be unsafe. There were broken tiles in both the pool and the jacuzzi—I actually cut myself on one. Out of three saunas, only one was working. Overall, the experience was far below what we expected. The only reason we’re giving 2 stars instead of 1 is that the location was okay and the building had potential, but sadly, it’s being very poorly managed.

A lakosztaly nagyon regi allapotban van, de ami a legbosszantobb volt, hogy az elso legmelegebb nyari napon kozoltek, hogy nem mukodik a legkondi karbantartas miatt.. Elfogadhatatlan amikor 80ezer forintot fizetek egy ejszakaert!!! Egyaltalan nem eri meg itt lakni ennyi penzert, nevetseges nemzetkozi szinvonalhoz merve. nagyon csalodottak vagyunk.

The location of this Hotel is good for enjoying lake Balaton. There is a very expensive and a free beachfront that is in walk-in distance. The breakfast and the dinner is served in the hotel’s restaurant and both the food and the service is good. We had a second floor room without elevator. We had heavy luggages which we had to carry to the second floor without any help from the hotel. The room had a nice view. The room was clean but the make up of the beds were sloppy and we did not have enough towels. The towels were old washed out with holes in them.

My staying at the hotel

The room view to the lake was nice and the rooms were clean. The opening hours of the restaurant for dinner could be longer. The wifi at the room was weak. The staff at the reception explained that the hotel had a private beach at the lake, which wasn't true.

das hotel ist nett und das personal freundlich und bemüht, dass man sich wohlfühlen kann. leider war die sauberkeit im apartement und im stiegenhaus nicht so besonders, im gästerestaurant allerdings war sie ok. der wellnessbereich ist gut. allerdings ist die umgebung wirklich großartig.

Very good stay

Apartment was in a beautiful setting with great views of the Lake. Apartment was extremely warm & could not regulate temperature well. Good was served for breakfast & dinner was good. Service was excellent. Had to pay almost double for the room due to an error when booking 4 adults vs 2 adults staying almost $200.

Pricey, but please consider... LOVED IT!

I was a little hesitant booking Echo, and my wife gave me #$#$ for spending that much money. The rooms were beautiful! Didn't realize that both breakfast AND dinner (a 4 course meal) were included! This small resort in quiet Tihany was the hi-light of our 4 week 9 country Europe vacation. If you're visiting Lake Balaton, I'd highly recommend this location.
