"A beautiful farmhouse shaped like a fortress just outside of Calitri. The host is very accommodating and helped me make some reservations despite not speaking English/my Italian being no good. Waking up to the birds was a treat, the bed was cozy and the shower worked well. It would be fun to have a bunch of friends stay there for a week. Definitely requires a car, I thought maybe one could walk in and out of Calitri but it's an enormous vertical distance, it would take hours."

A ten minute walk to the central piazza and some amazing food and gelato. The room was clean, well prepared, and spacious. We walked from the train station to the hotel, a little difficult because of the cobble stone streets, but would do it over and over again for the kind staff, great views, location, and delicious café! Thank you so much for a pleasant stay!"
