「Very cute cabin. Just what we needed for our annual trip to drive to mtns to pick out and purchase a Christmas tree from a choose and cut tree farm, plus get some xmas shopping done in West Jefferson NC and drove to the town of Sparta and also drove through stone mtn state park to see Widow falls and seen some deer also. it was a bit cold so we did not use the grill but the grill was actually cleaner than most other cabins we have been in but could use new burner covers and grease from bottom...

「Host was very prompt answering questions that we had pre-trip. We did not have any questions during our stay. The amentities were wonderful. From shampoo and conditioner, to pancake mix for breakfast, to several movie DVDs, to stacked wood to use at the fire pit. This was a most enjoyable stay.」

「Overall, the property was quite nice! We wished the hot water lasted a bit longer and that the curtains kept the rooms a bit darker but overall, it was nice. If you’re looking for a good spot to set up while you tour wineries in the area, this is a great choice!」

「The cabin was in excellent condition and well stocked with essentials. You only had to bring your own food, of course. Cooking equipment, toiletries, detergents, etc all provided. Communication with the owner was within minutes before and during our stay. An all around great experience. 」

「This cabin is set in a private remote area with 3 other cabins. Construction is beautiful and layout easy for handicapped people. The owner encouraged us to invite family over as the owners provide a firepit and wood. Very clean and quiet. I highly recommend Riversong cabins to everyone needing a little respite from the world. Remote but close enough to stores and restaurants if needed. I cannot say enough positive things about our experience. Will definitely stay here again.」

「This was our first time in Galax, Va, and our first stay at Fiddler’s Roost. We found it to be the perfect little cabin, beautifully tucked away with magnificent views. The breakfast the owners brought each morning was absolutely amazing! I would definitely recommend choosing this for your next stay!」

「Everything about the house was cozy and amazing. We had some issues come up with the house but the host were responsive and took care of the issues quickly. The only things we disliked were zero curtains in the bedroom area (that sun is BRIGHT at 7am) and there is a work garage behind the house that isnt shown in pics that had people continuously in and out driving by all weekend. We definitely plan to return in the future! 」
