(July) and various music events throughout the year. Local town of Thornhill has a range of shops, pubs, and cafes.
The area gives an unrivalled cross section of life from days gone by through the industrial revolution to modern life; however, one thing that has not changed is the tranquil beauty that greets all who venture into Southern Scotland. Solway coast and Galloway Forest Park are within easy reach.
