「Nice to return to an interesting hotel in a lovely spot. Condition of property mixed, maybe deteriorated since we last visited. But so have other aspects. Restaurant disappointing; unnecessarily complex menu, over ambitious & over priced but food disappointing/mediocre. Staff friendly but gave impression of constant sell of add-ons. Breakfast the worst Iv had in 30+ hotels over the last 18 months. Dreary, uninteresting unappetising food with extra charge item available also not an inspiring...
「A wonderful old style hotel friendly staff. Traditional not modern but all the better for it. Initial impressions did not do it justice as once we had settled in the place became more ideal and welcoming. Will come again when next passing despite being slightly of track. Thoroughly recommended」
