"If I could give this property zero stars, I would. The only positive thing about this hotel is that it is across from the beach on Ocean Drive. When we arrived, we were told we were in the second building, which required us walking through two bars and a gelato shop, to a tiny elevator in a corner. There is no official entrance to the second building, you quite literally have to walk through the shop to a Narnia-esque elevator in the back. The elevator's inspection was expired and it was very hot. Our room smelled so strongly of mold we had to keep the window open. This was extra awful because the bar/club next door plays very loud music late in to the night. The coffee maker didn't work and leaked water out the bottom. There was mold growing in the shower. The toilet only flushed half the time. The floors were so dirty it turned our feet black. The exterior stairwell doors close and lock behind you with no key card access, so you have to go down all the stairs to the bar and back through the gelato shop to get back to your room. And the absolute worst- the last day WE FOUND A BEDBUG IN OUR BED. The employees are either no where to be found or rude. The restaurants downstairs are overpriced and the servers are unfriendly. I have nothing positive to say about this place. A giant health code violation."

"Great location. Walk to restaurants and bars nearby. CVS and a liquor store are right behind the hotel which is very convenient. We stayed in the ocean view room on the second floor, didn’t hear any road noise or music. The rooftop area is really nice with Great views. The rooms were more like apartments than a hotel which is awesome. I would stay here again. "

"I stayed one night at the Chesterfield Hotel in Miami before leaving for a cruise. When I arrived, Katie at the front desk was very kind and helpful, and Carlos was also professional and understanding. Unfortunately, the room we were first placed in was clearly not properly cleaned. The bed linens were wrinkled, the pillows had brown smudges, glitter, and hair that clearly wasn’t mine, and the dresser had rings from cups and food crumbs that looked like leftover chicken or fish. Katie helped move us to another room, but it still made me question the overall cleanliness of the hotel. The next morning I asked the front desk receptionist, Rocio, if I could have 15–30 extra minutes past checkout, especially considering the condition of the first room. While I was trying to briefly explain the situation from the night before, Rocio told me to stop talking and walked away from the desk for an extended period of time. The interaction felt unnecessarily rude and dismissive, especially since I was simply trying to explain what had happened during my stay. She still refused the extra time, even though it was a small request. When I later spoke with Carlos, he was understanding and even agreed that the request should have been honored. The only real positive is the location… the beach is about a 4-minute walk away. Other than that, the cleanliness and service issues made this a disappointing stay. I would not choose to stay here again. "
