「Great place near the ocean! Friendly staff, clean and updated room, good AC and shower pressure. Comfy king bed. No in room safe. Breakfast was fine: make your own waffles and other quick fare. Nice gazebo on site to look at the ocean. Great pool, very clean but no baby pool. All in all, I’m glad we chose this place to stay for 4 nights. Early check in can be bought for $50.」

「The Compass is one of the nicest hotels we've stayed at in a while. That's saying something because we've stayed in about a dozen hotels in the last two months alone. The location is perfect for visiting Flagler Beach. It's surrounded by excellent espresso cafes, restaurants, and shopping and is a few steps from the Atlantic Ocean and the Flagler Pier. Staff is friendly and helpful. The free breakfast offerings are somewhat better than average and the house coffee is definitely a cut above....
