"Breakfast was amazing. The lady running that dining room is so sweet. I did not appreciate the guy from the front coming in and yelling at her to hurry up when there was plenty of food available. So unprofessional and rude. Also nobody was available at the front when it came time to check-out. "

"Reservation through check-out was seamless. Our hosts were very available. The bungalow was charming, comfortably furnished and totally equipped. A very generous welcoming basket included coffee, creamer, beverages and snacks. The location afforded walkable access to stores and restaurants. The covered front porch offered seating to enjoy the beautifully landscaped front lawn. I highly recommend."

"Checked in at four and left the hotel around five and when we got back our room had been cleaned again and the door was left open n unlocked we had a great stay wouldn’t recommend leaving important things while gone tho "

"I was there in March hoping for a nice experience as this hotel has been a lovely place in the past. First the power went out for a day. No hot water, no anything that included power. No offer for a credit or refund for the wasted day. Housekeeping was abysmal. I had no service at all that I could tell for 3 of my 5 nights the hotel. I paid extra for a view room which was also a corner unit that was great. BUT…Cobwebs all over the ceilings even in the bathroom. Drapes were in sad condition with stains here and there. The back of the TV had never been dusted as far as I could tell which was gross since you had to pull it away from the wall to see it from sitting in bed. And there is no nice restaurant there anymore. There is a cafe/bar in the lobby but nothing special. It was March and rainy so I did not go out by the pool but looking out the window there are wooden structures like storage buildings that look like they are falling down. Maybe it is nicer in the summer. The dock on the river looks like it always has and is in good condition. I feel like this: either tear it all down and start over (it is old I realize) or renovate into something wonderful to stay at like it used to be."
