"Location is great for downtown Long Beach, walking distance to some fantastic eats & beverages like Ammatoli, Sonoratown, Midnight Oil, Rose Park (coffee) and bonus - right across the street from Dirty Pepperoni. Room was a good size and clean, bed was super comfy. Personally could have used a desk space in the room to work but not a deal breaker. For those with accessibility needs, there are no elevators, FYI. You will need to be able to carry your bag or suitcase up stairs. Front Desk staff were friendly and helpful! I gave a 4-rating on some categories because the room could use some TLC re: fresh paint, newer towels. The hallway stairs (leading to the room) had a bit of a funky smell, could also use a deep clean or replacement. Overall decent stay, good value for what was paid."

"I'm not sure why Expedia picked this hotel for me and said that it is family-friendly and good for 1 adult and 1 teen, room is cute and the convenience technology is set up. But the hotel vibe looks like it is good for the couple, the toilet space is cheeky. The big issue for me is the safety, if you find the spot to park at the front door then you have to be careful with the tree leaf; if you park at the pay in side parking from 2 blocks away, then you have to watch out for the stranger and the homeless. We don't even walk to the beach, because my kid is too nervous. Urine smells around the street, huge tree leaf covers the sidewalk. The siren all night long, I'm a light sleeper, I can hear that even close all the window. Overall, I think that is the super good price for those who are looking for low cost stay downtown."

"Clean, quiet and safe property in an apartment building. The frot desk is staffed with friendly private security. Beds were comfortable and wifi was plenty fast. We appreciated the coffee, powdered creamer and sugar meaning we didn't have to go out for our first coffee.The microwave doesn't work regardless of the power setting we used. Something for the host to have repaired/replaced. We used the oven and everything worked great.We have an EV car and there are multiple ChargePoint charging stations in the garage, where you also have a single spot assigned to you during your stay. **If you are driving an EV -- notify the host. You will need to register at the desk in the lobby to turn on your access to charging.** We weren't notified of this option and couldn't find a desk receptionist to have that done for us. Also, the host can't do it for you.The cost of this rental is high due to it's location. Higher than a large Ritz Carlton room, yet worth it if you're attending an event at the Convention Center or nearby which was our case. Lots of food options in walking distance.Overall, no regrets for the convenience."
