Extended Stay America Premier Suites - Portland - North

"I have never stayed at this chain before and wasn't sure what to expect. Rooms have large fridges, hot plate, micro, and sink. If you need dishes they can supply. Rooms are not cleaned, only when requested. The room was clean, I was a little apprehensive about staying there because last time we stayed there ( 4 years ago) it was a different chain and security wasn't great. The car parked next to us had its windows smashed in. Security has been improved as well as fencing around the property. Stayed 4 nights, no issues. The grab and go breakfast is very sparce, coffee, a few small buns, oranges, eggs in packaging, and packaged outmeal, thats it! Very convenient to get to the race track which was our main concern. Be aware ther are many homeless in the area that we came across walking to the racetrack but no one bothered us, just very sad to see."

"I really liked my stay here super cheap and really get your moneys worth I’ve stayed at places far more expensive on my trip through the pnw and this was by far my favorite stay the room was clean and very cozy"

"Thought and care in every detail. Clean. Friendly and helpful staff. BEWARE! Access to the pool, hot tub, out door fire, “thermal mineral spring”, sauna, steam room and additional pools cost extra. The “unlimited pass” is linked to your stay severely limiting your access or 3hr pass is your other option. Optimizing our time in the pools took away from our overall experience. Also advertised a discount / free group work out class. It was NOT free. In the end spent significantly more than planned and just wanted to get out of there and not given them any more money. Will visit the pools again but will not stay the night."

"Love this hotel, I visit family a few times a year and always stay here. Beautiful property, clean rooms and wonderful staff. Love the views of the river also. Very clean and well kept and I’d highly recommend!"

"The property was very nice. Clean and well equipped. Communications with Veronica were very responsive. Parking can be a problem. When we arrived there was nothing available in the street and when both sides are full there is only room for one car to go through as the street is very narrow. We had to park on a side street. Could not find access to the house from the alley. Walkway to back of house to enter can be difficult for any kind of handicap. Weather was quite hot while there and there is no AC. There are fans in the bedroom but not capable of cooling enough when that warm. There was a small machine in the living room but again not able to cool down enough. Unit has been renovated and it really is very nice and comfortable."
