"Old heritage pub accommodation was different to our normal booked accommodation. Narrow halls and low ceilings at steps made things interesting but enjoyable. Reception, bar and bistro staff were very good. Dinner was great, especially the scallop pot pie. "

"We found the breakfast super healthy and surprisingly filling. Fruit and natural yogurt supplied. The indoor/outdoor shared area we liked very much. You look out towards the base of The Nut and there right before you is a little water fall and pond with gold fish in it. Use of local stone and brick created lots of ambience in a rustic kind of way. My wife and I enjoyed our two night stay very much. Kerry and Alastair have put a lot of time, energy and thought into creating this little oasis. Thank you."

"What a great place to stay. Rhonda and Chris were fantastic hosts. Our room (Admiral Room) was lovely, great views, plenty of space and close to everything with a view of The Nut along with a cooked breakfast in the morning make this a must stay in Stanley. "
