The amenities are modern and the tasty breakfast is served in a cozy dining room. We enjoyed our stay at The Ark and would have loved to stay longer 」
「We expected a hotel-style room but walked into a wonderfully wood furnished cottage-like apartment with large 50s style full kitchen/dining room, living room with leather recliners and effective electric fireplace, comfortable bedroom, large bathroom with claw tub, and separate shower. All of the above connected by a great hallway. We stayed an extra night but could have easily rented for a week or more.」
「The cabin was very private and overlooked the lake. Bed was very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment. Nice ground area to relax, explore and walk around.
It was about a 5/6 minute drive into Stanley. 」
「Uninterrupted views of the ocean. Loved the barrel fire pot on the veranda. Didn't need it, but just lovely to be out there. Great place for an extended family to hang out, beachcombing, fishing or just sitting with a wine and a good book. Its got it all, and all the things you need if the weather gets wild and woolly.....didn't happen in our case.

「Loved my little get away. Beautiful little part of Tassie. Fantastic friendly service. Carolyn lent me her own personal phone charger for the duration of my stay ( forgot mine ). Lots of easy walking tracks around the river. Will definitely be back .

「I stayed in an upstairs room above the pub, with private bathroom. Comfortable, great value & the kitchenette facilities made self-catering easy. Friendly staff and a major supermarket a short walk/drive away. Would stay again for sure.」
