「We absolutely loved our stay here. Linda and Tony have a rare gem of a place with The Scarla. Linda has personally styled the place with a unique blend of art deco vs modern and it works superbly. We could not fault any part of our stay, from the gorgeous room, comfy bed, tasty food but most important, what truly makes The Scarla a true gem, is Tony and Linda. They are the most welcoming, friendliest couple. You can see how much they enjoy meeting their guest, chatting with everyone at breakfast...

「The hotel was really lovely compared to others in the area. We walked to the tower from our hotel it took 40 mins. The hotel was clean, the bed was comfortable and the staff were friendly. We could see the sea from our room, the pleasure park backed on to the back of the hotel it was spectacular. Breakfast was lovely for £19 per person I would recommend this hotel for your stay. The tram is across the main road to the left To get to the tower they only take card payment.」

「Stayed in a single budget room which was clean and comfortable. The staff and owner make you feel very welcome. Good breakfast and well stocked bar - nice pint of Guiness. No complaints and great value. Pay and display car park a stones throw at £3 for 24 hours. No food in the evenings but would recommend the Dolphin chippy down the hill. Made a pleasant change from the corporate hotel chains.」

「The Room was clean, bed comfortable and staff very friendly, down to earth and cannot do enough to help, I asked for additional pillows and there was no hesitation, Leah on the late aft/eve reception was so nice to speak to and friend not to say genuine, as for all the pull downs this hotel gets I found this to be clean, comfortable and booked to stay again this weekend. We stayed in the Dutchman last year and paid more and we could not wait to leave there. For a budget hotel I would recommend...
