「If you're looking to visit Salem and save on lodging, this is the place. I visited for 3 nights (no car) and I was pretty happy. The Salem Skipper picks up about 2 blocks away, a short walk and an easy ride into downtown Salem (just be prepared to wait about 20-25 minutes). 「Flawlessly updated, centrally-located historic property ! Quiet with amazingly comfortable beds and a bountiful pantry for enjoyment by guests. Our entire stay was just perfect. We will be back!」
「The hotel is lavish! Elegantly tastefully decorated with beautiful furniture of vintage age and themed perfectly. Located conveniently to many local attractions and historical points of interest. 」
「Run by the kindest people (and friendliest cats!) in all of Salem, and could not possibly be more centrally located! 「The property was very clean and the staff was friendly. Although the place is a bit dated, everything is in great condition and well maintained. My granddaughter loved the geese that feed just across the road as well as all the songbirds in the trees on the property. The breakfast area is spacious and the 24 hour service area for snacks and necessities was a nice addition. We will be staying here again when we return to visit Salem. 」
