"Very friendly and welcoming place to stay, excellent food and beer and accommodation, great base for visiting the many Yorkshire Dale Villages and towns. "
"This is a beautifully appointed cottage with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It's in a quiet location looking out onto a courtyard. Although there is no onsite parking, we had no trouble finding a parking space on the square. Visitors should also be aware that there is no outdoor seating area but we were out and about so this wasn't a problem for us. We would recommend the fish and chip place - but go for small fish and chips! The large are for those with a very large appetite! ...
"A top-class accommodation. Everything was perfect and worked perfectly. The beds were comfortable and it was clean and tidy. Cozy interior, good information and well organized. Very good Wi-Fi and fully equipped kitchen and accommodation. Can really be recommended. Perfect!"

"We were made welcome from the moment we arrived. The village was peaceful and was just what we expected. There was a choice of breakfast for any taste and the same with the evening menu. The staff were friendly and engaging with nothing being too much trouble. We would definitely recommend staying here. Well worth the drive from mid wales."
"The house is large and nicely decorated and reasonably well equipped especially for larger family groups. We struggled a little as a lot of larger dishes and we were only two. Also heavy hinting on vegetarian meals with only veggie cookbooks in kitchen ? Felt a bit pointed. We found it cold although upstairs timing for heating was dealt with quickly on us contacting the appointed person although no return contact from text. The downstairs remained cool I think due to movement sensors for heating and there being only two of us.
We found a lot of dead insects around skirting in all rooms we used, and cobwebs, maybe cleaning needs attention at change of seasons. "
"This property was really beautiful and the staff were so kind! Unfortunately as it's an older building, there is no lift to the rooms so it probably won't be accessible to people with mobility challenges. "
"The accommodation was warm, clean and comfortable. The location is beautiful and the seanary is calming. Parking is no problem. A great escape ithe city life."
"Lovely stay, staff are so welcoming and can not do enough for you.
It has a very 'horsey' theme throughout which is cute.
We had a meal on the first evening and the homemade pie was gorgeous.
Breakfast was average, and nothing much for vegetarians.
Lovely location. We would definitely stay again.
