"The Morris Lane house is an excellent place for relaxation. This was our 3rd year at staying on the lake. We love the view and the all the sounds of the wildlife. There are plenty of places to visit with only a short drive. The house has everything you need. The covered porch allows you to sit with coffee and take in the beautiful view. Feel adventurous there are plenty of kayaks for a trip around the lake. We have enjoyed every trip."

"This place was wonderful! The beds comfy and cozy. I loved the back porch, the option for a fire pit was great even though we didn’t use it. The bathroom was nicely stocked and so was the kitchen. I love how close it is to Rogue Bluffs, only a 15-20 minute walk. The blueberry loaf Ms.Maggie made was delicious and just perfect with coffee in the morning in the back porch. Thank you so much!"

"The view was amazing! The rooms were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with coffee, spices, dishes, pots, etc. We were very comfortable staying there as the area is very quite and serene. We were visiting from Texas so this may have been just something specific to the area or Maine, but the tap water had a metallic taste to it. Certainly not a issue/reason to not stay, we simply purchased bottled water for making coffee, drinking and cooking. If this is common for the area, it might be good to notify guests so that they are prepared. The information provided by Julie regarding things to do in the area were much appreciated and did not disappoint. We have recommended the property to friends who will be visiting Maine later this year! We loved reading the journal entries as well!"
