"The hotel is housed in a beautiful building, greater than 500 years old. It is very clean and well maintained, but some of the room amenities leave a little to be desired. The bathtub is very small and has a glass partition which covers just half the space. It takes a little maneuvering to stand under the shower and keep everything else dry. The water pressure was very good. Also, no bathroom counter space to speak of. The furnishings were in keeping with the age and period of the building. Our room was on the fifth floor and the elevator does not go that high so there were lots is steps to be tackled. Our party was ok to manage this but there are many who could not. The staff is there of course to help with bags. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to all our needs. Finally the Hotel Paris is in an amazing location- very close to Santa Maria Novella train station, the Duomo, good restaurants and great shopping."

"We had a good stay at Hotel Galileo and it worked really well for a short visit to Florence. The hotel feels smaller and more personal, which we actually liked. The location is convenient and close to a busier part of the city, so there was some street noise, but that was to be expected. The room had everything we needed, the hotel was comfortable, and overall it was a solid place to stay for a few nights. If you’re looking for something simple, well-located, and practical for exploring Florence, this is a good option."

"This hotel is very well located! We used this as our base and then got the Tram into the centre of Florence each day to explore. The tram stop is right across the road and only costs €2 which was great for us! The hotel is nicely decorated and very clean. The reception and housekeeping staff were very friendly and helpful. We found the mattresses quite hard but the pillow menu was a great addition! We had some issues with our toilet not working but once we spoke to the reception team they got it sorted whilst we were out having dinner. Our only real complaint was that the hotel car park was full for our entire stay so we had to pay a fortune to park our car on the road instead."
