Temple of Khnum

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Sonesta St. George Hotel Luxor. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome with refreshing welcome drinks and excellent service. They even surprised us with a complimentary room upgrade, which was a wonderful gesture and made our stay even more special. The room was spacious, very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. We also had a beautiful view of the Nile River, which made our stay even more memorable. The hotel’s location is excellent, making it easy to explore Luxor and enjoy the nearby attractions. We had dinner at the Japanese restaurant, and it was a great experience. The waiter, server, and chef were all friendly, professional, and attentive, and the food was excellent. The complimentary breakfast was also very good, with a wide variety of fresh and tasty options to start the day. The only downside during our stay was the ongoing construction around the pool and courtyard area. While we understand the hotel is making improvements, the constant construction noise throughout the day made it difficult to relax and enjoy the pool during our one-night stay. Overall, the excellent hospitality, comfortable accommodations, beautiful Nile views, great dining experience, delicious breakfast, and convenient location far outweighed the temporary inconvenience. We would happily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Luxor, especially once the renovation work is complete.
