18th Century Mill Cottage - Pass the Keys

Situated in the picturesque village of Coalbrookdale, our 18th Century converted Corn mill is a stone’s throw from the famous Ironbridge and the Ironbridge Gorge Museums. Explore scenic walking trails, visit local pubs, and discover the rich history of this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Nestled in the trees, this unique 3-Storey cottage offers a quaint place to stay but with modern day comforts. It is ideally located with museums, a park, a cafe and walking trails within a few minutes walk.

Our meticulously restored cornmill boasts original features seamlessly integrated with contemporary amenities. Spread over three floors, the mill includes:

A Snug: Relax in our cozy lounge with comfortable seating and a a wood-burning stove.

A Spacious Living room: Complete with a Flat Screen TV, A Sofa bed and stunning views of the Shropshire countryside.

Fully Equipped Kitchen: Enjoy cooking in our modern kitchen, complete with all essential appliances, a charming dining area and a WC.

Two Comfortable Bedrooms: Sleep peacefully in our well-appointed bedrooms with plush bedding, featuring a double bed in the master and 2 single beds in bedroom 2.

Modern Bathroom: Refresh in our stylish bathroom, complete with bath/shower and towels provided.

Outdoor Space: Unwind in our private outdoor area at the back of the house, perfect for al fresco dining or have a coffee while soaking up the serene surroundings at the front.

Due to lots of stairs this property isn’t suitable to those with mobility issues.

If you have toddlers or crawling infants please be aware this property hasn’t been child proofed and doesn’t provide high chairs or cots.

A well-behaved dog is welcome with prior arrangement but unfortunately due to allergies Cats aren’t permitted.

If you require use of the sofa bed, please let us know in advance of your stay and please be advised there is an additional charge of £15 to cover the cost of the extra linen

Guests have full access to property, including the back yard and parking for one car. Any other vehicles can be parked for free on the car park at the bottom of the lane.
We provide complimentary Wi-Fi, linens, and toiletries for your convenience.

The property is an end terrace of 3 cottages. Please be aware there is a right of way for the neighbours to access their back yards via a path between the property and the decking area.

The house whilst in a Secluded spot is close to many local amenities.
Most of the Ironbridge Gorge museums are right on the doorstep and Blists Hill Victorian town is a 7 minute drive.
Ironbridge is a 3 minute drive or 20 minute walk
Telford Town center, Town park and the International Conference Center is an 8 minute drive or 20 minute cycle along a cycle path.
Shrewsbury is a 25 minute drive
The Shropshire Hills, Carding mill Valley and the long Mynd are just a 30-40 minute drive away.

IMPORTANT: On behalf of our host at Pass the Keys, we require guest verification facilitated by Truvi (Previously called Superhog). Upon confirming your booking, Truvi will contact the lead booker via a secure link, providing detailed instructions for the verification process.

The online verification requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay.

Once the verification process is successfully completed, check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property.
