Many nights, we fell asleep on the large loungers and enjoyed a peaceful nap as the breeze gently kissed our skin. Sitting on the back porch, we could look out at the ocean and then turn slightly to see the beautiful mountains. It was absolutely breathtaking.The home, the views, and the surrounding area were fantastic, but what truly made this place special was the staff. Tanya, Jonny, and Narciso were phenomenal. Tanya and Jonny kept the house spotless and prepared the most delicious, authentic Dominican food. Tanya was even kind enough to let me cook with her and taught me how to make some of my husband’s favorite dishes. Her pastelone was out of this world and I picked up some tips on how to improve my own.We were able to truly relax because we didn’t have to do a single thing. The dishes were washed and the home was cleaned immediately and almost unnoticeably. "Group of 15 (5 kids 11-16 & 1 vs 0 18)House: beautiful and clean. 6 rooms, each has a balcony and view of the oceanPool: Pool is nice and was cleaned twice a week. Hot tub was warmer than the pool and they made it hot when asked, which made it more fun in the rain.Staff: Fantastic! Absolutely amazing! The 2 ladies would cook/clean during the day time hours. Kept it very clean and cooked great. Individual meals or large family style meals. They had some favorite options written down to help choose. They would give us lists of ingredients and either us or them would buy. One person sprained her cancel and stayed home alone from an activity and they waited on her to the point she was super happy not to have gone on the activity. We had a few sick people and the staff was extremely helpful as well. A little Spanish helps (house manager speaks English well), but the staff is so kind and patient with this that Google Translate is great.The security guard was a great addition even though I thought we were pretty safe without him. The neighborhood seemed the safest in all of Puerto Plata.House Manager was very helpful with information, transportation and quick to respond. Their excursion guy was very helpful as well. "
