"The beach was not very convenient for someone who is disabled. You would have to go down 20 or more steps to get th we te. Then there were no chairs to sit on it was only to go in the water. Our bathrooms toilet did not work. The buffet was not good at all, same food lunch and dinner and not a lot of variety"

"The beach was very nice and clean. The only downfall is thete is not a lot of shade,so if want shade you should get to the beach early. The snack bar was always fully stocked limited meat choices?,hamburger hot dogs but good salad bar and always some kind of dessert."

"I stayed at the Lifestyle Cofresi hotel and the staff at check in were poorly trained with poor customer service did not appear to care. Once we got to the room this is where the biggest disappointment was. The shower head was broken the water stream barely came out and it caused water to go all over the floors with a big water clean after every shower. The TV was old and no signal so it didn’t work. The furniture was old and worn. Needs a real remodel, and better trained staff. I noticed that a lot of young Dominicans were being trained which is good, but the trainers need to do better. I would not stay at Cofresi again."

"lack of elevators was the only downside to the resort if you have walking issues, otherwise food was excellent, and so were the staff. Entertainment fantastic, so much better than at Punta Cana. Will certainly revisit. Desk manager Sofia extremely accomodating, housekeeper Mercedes wonderful."

"We had a wonderful stay at Xeliter Green One in Puerto Plata. The property is modern, clean, peaceful, and perfect if you prefer a quieter atmosphere over a crowded all-inclusive resort. The rooms were spacious, good beds, the grounds were beautiful, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The beach was absolutely gorgeous, and my family and I spent most of our time there! Most of the hotels are located within the Playa Dorada area, which also has a nearby mall and activities for families. My 4-year-old especially loved the horse carriage ride around the area for a few bucks. A few areas could still improve, particularly the food options, some minor maintenance details, and the WiFi, which was not always reliable. However, overall it was still a relaxing and comfortable experience. It’s a great option for families or couples looking for a calm getaway in a beautiful setting. Important note: it’s about an hour and a half drive from Cibao International Airport (Santiago de los Caballeros), so plan accordingly if you’re arriving via STI. Renting a car is definitely worth it if you’re comfortable driving, as taxis can cost a bit more. Uber is also not very reliable or efficient in the DR, so be prepared to spend a little extra on transportation if you plan to use it to get around."

"Most of the Staff are so Rude. Room are so unconfortable and bed are so old that make your body hurt all over when get up. I tried cancelling One night and was back and for saying since reservation was made with Expedia they need to cancel. Contacted Expedia few times and Expeedia said they need property approval. From all Resorts I have visited in DR, I want to give this one a trial, and this was the Worst ever ever ever resort I have visited. Dont really recommended. They are very options on Puerto Plata. On top of that, electricity went off few times and it looks they dont have a generator to provide electricity in case there is a black out."

"Deceptive location indicated on website! It's a room in a big cluster of villas, definitely not a hotel, no gym not coffee machine in room, TV only 40 inchec, not 55" as advertised, wifi does not cover the far side of the backyard! So far from anything, over 8 minutes on golf cart just to get to any amenities, like restaurant and stores, or public beach with sand, nice seaside villa, but the thin patch of sand is off a deep crippling-drop cliff! Only saving grace is the friendly staff."
